| into the bushings the grease gets completely wiped off of the pin. Having grease in the grooves will be of little benefit if it doesn't find its way in between the pin and the bushing. IMHO, the pins need some sort of "pebbled" finish to ensure grease is trapped between the pin and the bushing. Another thing to consider would be changing the profile of the groove cut into the bushing. It looks to be a square notch, and the sharp corners of this notch are probably pretty darn efficient at wiping grease from the pin during radial motion. If this corner were chamfered, it would force a wedge of grease in between the bushing and the pin rather than wipe it off. I guess we'll see how they work when I set it on the ground.
